Our Nursery is designed to enable children to become confident and capable learners. The resources are vast and cover all areas of the Early Years Curriculum. We have a secure, safe and stimulating environment inclusive of a well resourced outdoor area.
We pride ourselves on following children's interests and weaving learning into all they do. Children are unique with varied and personal likes and dislikes. With this in mind we tailor all learning specifically to the child.
This ensures that all children are engaged and involved in their own unique and personal learning journey.
At Oakey Dokey Childcare we believe that quality Early Years Childcare really makes a difference to children. Nobody is more important in educating children than the parent or carer. This is why we work extremely closely with parents and carers to develop strong relationships to share and celebrate the learning and development of each and every child.
All staff are extremely experienced, qualified and above all passionate about delivering the best possible childcare for your child. Staffing is above the recommended ratio requirements so that children receive focused and individual care.
We operate a key person system which means that every child has a specific member of staff responsible for developing and monitoring their learning. The key person also ensures that parent/carers are involved in every stage of their child's development. The relationship between nursery and home is celebrated strongly so that every child has the best possible approach to their development.
